It appears that my drivers are missing, since nothing about the CD ROM shows up in the Device Manager. I\'ve tried running the \"Add New Hardware Wizard\" and it doesn\'t find any new devices. How can I reinstall my CD ROM drivers? The drivers are unlikely to actually be missing but the drive might not be detected for some reason. I don\'t know if it will work for you but you can try the steps outlined in this MS article:;en-us;189526&Product=winme Sometimes removing the IDE controller from device manager will cause Windows to redetect the attached drives after it redetects the controller on reboot. Also recommend that you install the chipset drivers for your AMD-751 chipset.
