CDRom missing from Windows Explorer

I recently installed a second hard drive on my PC. It was automatically assigned the drive letter \"D:\" previously used by my CDRom drive. Using the system file in Control Panel, I designated the CDRom as the \"E:\" drive. Although the CDRom works fine, it still does not show up in the \"My Computer\" or \"Windows Explorer\" files. To access it, I must Start/Run/E: and then browse the files on the CD, if I don\'t know the specific file name. How do I get it to show up in Windows Explorer?
